They opened up the scoring early on after a fantastic drive by right half James Phillips, who fired a ball into the circle for a shot taken by Mitch Barrack that was remarkably deflected at chest height by Macka (Dan MacKensie) into the back of the net to take Chiswick 1-0 up.
Chiswick stayed on the front foot with some good interplay between the midfield and strikers. However Eastcote hit back, with their usual strong midfield and the Chiswick defence did very well to absorb a lot of pressure applied.
Though a great break in play, Chiswick managed to find themselves in Eastcote’s circle again, a shot by Ian Freeland was saved but then cleaned up again by Ian Freeland to take Chiswick 2-0 up at halftime.
Chiswick came out hard early in the 2nd though were immediately put on the back foot again with some quality midfield play by Eastcote. They managed to get a run of shot corners and bagged a goal to make it 2-1.

Chiswick 1s will be disappointed to get only a draw out of this game, as they clearly had the upper hand in the first half. The team will certainly need to work on their ability to shut games out after building an early lead. All in all though good game day spirit, and a point taken keeps Chiswick still fighting for a top spot.
