We endeavor to make umpiring as enjoyable as possible for members of the club. There are pages on the site which show the current rules of hockey and details of our very own umpire development programme. This should improve knowledge and mean members are more confident when umpiring.

Level 1 Umpire Courses in January
As there are already two umpiring courses running in Middlesex in January, PHC Chiswick will not be running our own course. Instead we are asking our umpires, players and parents to get involved in one of these two upcoming Level 1 umpire courses in Middlesex.

DEADLINE 18 January
As soon as you umpire a few games with Chiswick, the club will refund your umpire course fees. Umpires who have taken the course get paid £10 per game and get fantasy points.
Once you've taken the course, the club will give you games to umpire, starting easy and then getting more challenging the better you get as an umpire. You will have umpire coaches for the first few games you do and will be supported by me and the umpire coordinators throughout your games.
