Ladies 2's vs Winchmore&Enfield 1's Lost 2-1

After four consecutive wins Chiswick Ladies' 2s suffered their first loss of the season this Saturday in their home match against Winchmore & Enfield Ladies' 1s. Winchmore & Enfield were on the attack right from the starting whistle putting Chiswick under pressure straight away. Two goals secured Winchmore & Enfield an early lead. Whilst Chiswick tightened up their defence and goalie, Matilda Lang, made several strong saves they struggled to create opportunities to score for the remainder of the first half. After the half time talk from captain Kerry Bloxham Chiswick came out fighting and a goal from Vicky Lorimer soon followed. Although Chiswick played a far stronger half they failed to convert any of their attacks into another goal leading to the final score being Winchmore & Enfield - 2 Chiswick -1.
