Ladies 3s vs NPL 1s

NPL have only just been promoted but this didn't stop them from playing their usual physical and mouthy game. Chiswick opened strongly, and scored the first goal, courtesy of Moose (you've got to go round the keeper!) but NPL replied soon after some messy defence. Coupled with, and because of some appalling umpiring from Susan Boyle, there were too many missed chances  for Chiswick and the first half ended 1:1.

The second half was equally as frustrating, but whilst Chiswick failed to score, NPL dinked their second in over the line. Susan Boyle's umpiring remained terrible and inconsistent, rewarding a penalty corner off an invisible foot which thankfully wasn't converted. In the mean time, the pressure and abuse (from them not us!) might have got to the other umpire, who might have burst into tears. *Must grow thicker skin*. But the good thing is, she was better than Susan Boyle.
