PHC L6’s v Teddington L5’s
The game was on with Chiswick winning the coin toss. Chiswick quickly took control and moved the ball forward, with Gillian Kerr scoring within minutes of the whistle. Both Teddington and Chiswick kept the game wide with lovely quick passing down the wings. But Chiswick kept control with a stng midfield blocking the ball moving backwards. Keeping the ball in attack mode, Helen Lee took a prime moment on the left wing to make a clean 2-0 for the first half. The second half saw Teddington fight back with some great passing, but with a strong midfield on the attack, Gillian Kerr netted her second goal, tallying her fourth for the season. Mere moments later, Teddington took an opportune moment to slide past the Chiswick defence and debut keeper Alex Cauchard, and netted their first goal. Some excellent passing between midfield and forwards enabled Helen Lee on the wing to strike through with her second goal of the game. A tired Teddington fought hard but some excellent stick skills from Talywn Whetter took home her first goal of the season and winner for most enthusiastic celebration of the season! Score - 5-1 win MoM - Talywn Whetter for fab play DoD - Hannah Mort for oversleeping, getting stuck in traffic and holding the shirts hostage
