PHC Ladies 2s vs Eastcote Ladies 2s - WIN 4-2

Newly promoted Chiswick 2s had nothing to lose in this match against Eastcote 2s who finished 4th in the Middlesex Premier division last season. Starting with only 11 players and no subs, the aim was to go out hard and this proved effective, scoring the first goal. Eastcote weren't to be outdone however and equalised shortly after during a scrappy penalty corner. Chiswick responded and scored a second goal to stay ahead. After oranges at halftime, Chiswick came out with new tactics and in the second half, made better use of the back line. A third goal for Chiswick came quickly when the centre forward flicked the ball over a prone Eastcote GK, but Eastcote broke away and on beating the Chiswick GK in a 1-on-1 tapped in their second goal. Chiswick stayed strong though, and quick passing up the line resulted in a fourth goal for the home team.
