Chiswick approached the recently relegated Ashford with trepidation, expecting at least a close match. Straight from pushback however, Chiswick's strong forwards dominated with significantly higher possession. Despite this, Chiswick could not capitalise and only scored one goal in the first half. A mild scare in this half when a loose hit found the Ashford's left forward, but the keeper made a tackle and Chiswick kept a clean sheet. In the second half, Chiswick knew they could win the match, and stepped up a gear. They added 4 goals to the scoresheet, and Ashford couldn't respond with all their shots off target. The Chiswick GK didn't even touch the ball in open play in the second half.
Final score 5:0 to PHC Chiswick Ladies 4s.
